PlacerPro is a map that estimates where placer gold is more likely to be found. It is made by Integrity Tech, LLC, a Virginia limited liability company ("we", "us"). These terms cover the PlacerPro website, the map, and the PlacerPro apps. By creating an account or using PlacerPro, you agree to them.

1. What PlacerPro is, and what it isn't

• The shading and creek ratings are estimates built from public records: old mine and prospect locations, geologic maps, USGS stream-sediment lab results, and mining claim records. They are not a promise that gold is present, or that it can be found in any amount.
• Land, claim and rules information comes from government sources that can be out of date, incomplete or wrong. A spot shown as public land can be private, closed, or under an active mining claim.
• Nothing in PlacerPro is legal advice.

2. Your responsibilities in the field

• You are responsible for having permission to be on any land and in any stream, and for confirming who owns it and whether it is under a mining claim.
• You are responsible for following federal, state, tribal and local rules, including rules on equipment (dredges, sluices, highbankers), seasons, permits and water quality.
• Prospecting can be dangerous: fast water, old mine openings, remote roads, weather. Use your own judgment. Never enter old mine workings.

3. Your account

• You sign in with your email address and a one-time code. Keep access to your email secure.
• One person per account. Don't share your login.
• You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian's permission.

4. Free trial and subscriptions

• New accounts get a free 7-day trial. No card is needed to start it.
• After the trial, PlacerPro costs $7 a month or $60 a year, plus any tax. Prices can change; we'll email you at least 30 days before a change affects you.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time from My account; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
• Payments are handled by Stripe. If you subscribe through Google Play or the App Store, that store's billing and refund rules apply instead.
• Refunds: if you're charged and contact us within 7 days, we'll refund that charge. Otherwise payments aren't refunded, except where the law requires.

5. Fair use of the map

• PlacerPro is for your own personal prospecting. Don't copy, share, sell or publish its data, or screenshots of it in bulk.
• Don't scrape, mass-download, or try to get around the sign-in or download limits. We limit how many areas one account can download in a short time.
• Sharing a single screenshot with a friend or in a prospecting group is fine.

6. What you add

Your pins, notes and finds are yours. We store them so they sync between your devices, and we don't share them. When you send a problem report, rating or message, you let us use it to improve PlacerPro (for example, to fix a creek rating). See the Privacy Policy.

7. Changes and availability

We keep improving the map, so areas, ratings and features change. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. We try to keep PlacerPro running, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free, especially offline.

8. Limits on our responsibility

PlacerPro is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for losses that come from using it, including trespass or claim disputes, fines, injuries, damaged equipment, or trips that didn't find gold. Our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it.

9. Changes to these terms

If we make important changes, we'll email you or show a notice in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use PlacerPro after that means you accept the new terms.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Virginia. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Culpeper County, Virginia.
